Sales Promotions

All Genpower Ltd sales promotion activity will conform to, but is not limited to, the following set of guidelines. All online sales promotions are limited to products for sale through the bepressure.co.uk website.. Any sales promotion offers featured within a Genpower Ltd publication cannot be used in conjunction with a sales promotion offer featured on the bepressure.co.uk website.

Genpower  Ltd retains the right to operate more than one sales promotion at any one time. Genpower Ltd. retains the right to change the terms and conditions of its sales promotions without prior notification. Should you return a product, the normal delivery fee will be charged based on the original order. Returns will be refunded at the price the products were purchased at E & OE.

Buyer Statement

Genpower  Ltd. does not in any way, warrant that you, the buyer, can lawfully purchase, possess, carry or use any item which you may order, under any applicable UK and / or local laws. You, as buyer, warrant that you have checked those laws, that you are of legal age to purchase these items and that you are not under any legal disability which would in any way affect your ability to lawfully purchase them.

 

Important Information

As a machinery distribution company our warehouse is not ideal for you to view equipment prior to purchasing. However, we will try to accommodate. Please call 24 hours in advance to request a viewing. We can then let you know if your item is in stock. By placing an order you the customer confirm that you have read, understood and accepted Genpower  Ltd's terms and conditions of business.

 

Our Service to You. We are here to help you if you have any queries regarding an order or product. Call 01646 687 880 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Please have your customer number to hand. Please allow at least 1 day over your selected delivery service before calling for an update.

 

Our Satisfaction Policy. We want you to be pleased with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you can return your items at your cost, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. Please ensure that the items are insured to the correct value, if using a courier. Outbound delivery charges will not be refunded. Call or write within 14 days of purchase for authorisation to return or exchange your unwanted goods. See 'Returns procedure' for more information.

 

Delivery Information. We will send your order by your selected service, or the most efficient method. However, certain sizes and weights may require specific carriers to be used:

 

Palletised Freight

Items too heavy or large to be transported by standard shipment will be sent by pallet. If this is the case for your order, you will receive a freight quote. You will need to provide assistance for unloading individual items over 30kg. For palletised items, please inform us if you do not have a forklift.

Items requiring assembly/pre service checks
All machinery must be fuelled, lubrication oil level checked and battery acid level checked prior to first use. Ordering of these items is on the understanding that the purchaser is competent or has employed someone competent to complete these tasks.

Due to logistical problems beyond our control, delivery to certain parts of the UK may take longer than advertised. Please speak with your Sales Rep for confirmation of delivery times.

 

Returns Procedure

All returns must be arranged through Customer Service, who will issue you with a returns authorisation number. All items returned will incurr a restock fee to cover any delivery charges and payment processing fees. There will be a minimum charge of 20% of purchase value to the customer if:

Items are found to have been used, misused or badly packaged on return. 
Items returned, at your expense, are still your responsibility while they are in transit.

 

Unsuitable Items

Genpower  Ltd. reserve the right to apply a handling charge to returned items. These items can be returned, at your expense, within 7 days of invoice provided:

They are unused, with all manuals, and in their original, undamaged packaging. (Please be aware that Genpower  Ltd are not responsible for the return carriage).

Petrol/diesel powered items have fuel and oil removed.

Items returned within 14 days can be exchanged or you can decide to receive a refund, less our handling fee.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable.

 

Faulty or Damaged Items

Items damaged in transit can be returned provided you have signed for the consignment as damaged and notify Customer Services within 24 hours of receipt (please have your packing slip to hand when you call the number above). Faulty items can be returned at any time during its warranty period. Please ensure items are suitably packed. Return carriage and packaging is the responsibility of the customer. The goods must be insured to the purchase value. BE Pressure will only accept responsibility for the machine when we have signed for the machine un-damaged at our premises.

 

Warranty

 

The warranty below applies to all BE Pressure washers.

 

Proof of purchase is required for  all warranty claims.

 

Honda engines

All Honda engines to be covered by standard Honda warranty below.

GX series are covered for 3 years for domestic and commercial use

GC series are covered for 2 years domestic and 3 months commercial.

The above warranty will be supported by your nearest Honda engine dealer.

 

Pumps

Commercial pumps carry a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects, supported by Genpower Ltd.

Domestic pumps carry a 12 month domestic use and 3 month commercial use warranty.

Wearing and serviceable parts such as those listed (but not limited to) are not covered: Valves, seals, bearings, couplings, hoses, unloader valves.

The above is a parts only or RTB warranty. See definition below. Please note that for warranty work on pumps, the pump must be removed from the machine and sent back to Genpower.

We will not cover the return carriage of the whole machine if there is a pump warranty failure.

 

General Warranty (except Honda engine and pumps - see above). We offer a 12 month (90 day rental use) parts/return to base warranty on all machines. This can be utilised in one of two ways:

  1. Parts Only - If a part fails, we will send you the new part. You will be responsible for fitting the new part and returning the old part to us by return, or sending photographic proof of the failed part. Failure to return the old part or provide photographic proof will invalidate the warranty.
  2. Return to Base (RTB) - If your machine fails, you return it to us and we will either repair it or replace it and send it back to you. The arrangement and cost of the return carriage is your responsibility. Genpower Ltd will only assume responsibility for the goods when we have signed for the delivery of goods from your courier. Please ensure that the goods are insured to the correct value in case of damage occurs enroute to ourselves. Genpower Ltd will pay for the cost of returning the machine to you, after repair/replacement (Highlands and Islands may incur a surcharge to cover the extra cost of carriage, please check before returning goods). 

Neither Genpower Ltd. nor the manufacturer can be held liable for fair wear and tear or misuse of the goods. In all circumstances, Genpower Ltd will only be liable for the cost of parts. If the machine is found to be functioning correctly, you will be charged for the return carriage and labour for testing. Consequential loss will not be paid.

If your machine is outside the warranty period, we will still repair it, but there will be a charge for parts and labour, please ask our service department for advice on costs etc.

All machines must have been serviced at the recommended intervals and service records kept, stating hours, date and service work undertaken, to prove this.

N.B. Wearing parts and accessories carry a 90-day warranty. (Accesories include: Hoses, lances, Whirlaways, turbo nozzles etc)

Batteries, recoil start cords, hoses, belts, wheels, tyres, seals, valves, bearings, couplings, nozzles, where applicable are not covered under any warranty.

This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser of the machine from Genpower Ltd, or an authorised dealer of Genpower Ltd. An original invoice may be requested and must be produced before any work is carried out on any product. Consequential loss is not covered.
