Details

The BE-GX390GEN is the most powerful open frame petrol generator in the BE Pressure range, powered by the immensely powerful Honda GX390 engine. This 389cc 4-stroke petrol engine is world renowned for being built to the highest standard. Ideal usage for the BE-GX390GEN includes construction sites, the industrial sector and within the hire and rental market. Now this popular model comes available with a pre-fitted and configured LPG conversion, making the generator a dual fuel unit, with the ability to run on both unleaded petrol or LPG, and an easy and efficient means of switching between the two.

So, with the application of an LPG conversion to a rugged and commercial grade Honda powered generator, this unit also lends itself to use for the mobile catering industry.

Having your Honda generator converted to run off LPG results in many benefits.

These include:

  • It can be plugged directly into gas hookup on a caravan or mobile catering van
  • Further reduced engine noise in certain circumstances.
  • Improved combustion, as LPG reaches the engine in gas form, rather than liquid.
  • Enhanced starting, even from cold, with a smoother ignition.
  • The engine oil does not become diluted which results in lower servicing costs. NB. Regular servicing is still recommended.
  • Lower cost, especially for users who already use LPG elsewhere.
  • No need to have to store or bring a supply of petrol with you if you do already have a supply of LPG.

With a continuous output of 5.2kW and a maximum output of 5.5kW the BE-GX390GEN has the power to keep even the most demanding jobs running.

The BE-GX390GEN benefits from more sockets than the lower models, with 1x 230v 16A, 1x 230v 32A, 1x 115 16A and 1x 115v 32A sockets. It’s also fitted with an AVR alternator which produces a smooth power output, making it safe to use with electronic appliances.

The large 6.1L fuel tank keeps the BE-GX390GEN powered for up to 3.5hours (petrol mode).
